Project Night Night

Through the national Project Night Night program, the Cleveland Chums help children from the Zelma George Shelter have sweeter dreams. Every child who receives one of our Night Night packages leaves the shelter owning a book which encourages reading and family bonding, a security blanket which can be cuddled, and a stuffed animal which can become a cherished friend.

In the family engagement literacy piece, which emphasizes parents reading to their child, Storyteller Robin Echols Cooper takes the families on an animated journey as she brings vibrant characters to life through the use of storytelling and theater skills, vocal characterizations, gestures, creative movement and facial expressions. A real treat to all!
