Dear Chum Sisters, The Cleveland Chapter of Chums can’t wait to see you in “THE LAND” as we “Rock in the CLE.” This is a friendly reminder that registration is due by June 30, 2023. The registration packet is on the National Website. Currently, we are accepting Ads and Patrons for the Souvenir Journal. The deadline is July 31, 2023. See the registration packet for details on the Registration Packet for the ad rates. The chapter is planning some exciting events for Friday the 20th.

A Morning Meditation and Stretch from 9:00 -10:00am led by The Black Food Scientist, Mrs. Brittany Towers Lewis. Follow her on Instagram @theblackfoodscientist. Brittany will provide an exhilarating morning stretch that will leave you feeling charged for the entire day. Dress appropriately to fully enjoy this activity.

 

An Equitable Finance Presentation from 11:00 – 12:30pm. Our partners with Equitable Advisors will present Black Women and Finance. We want to help women dispel some of the myths around money so they can make sound financial decisions. It will focus on women in all stages of life to address their needs around retirement planning, investing, protecting their families, and creating a legacy for the next generation.

 

A Tour of Cleveland from 2 – 4:00pm. (There will be a cost for the tour) A guided bus tour on an air-conditioned coach will take you through historic Cleveland, Ohio, The Flats and Downtown, University Circle, Millionaires Row and The Underground Railroad stops in our region.

 

Look Like a Star! Guided Make-Up Presentation from 2:00 to 4:00pm. (There will be a cost to cover products and services). This exciting hands-on workshop is designed to teach you how to glam up your eyebrows, lip color and add eyelashes if that’s your thing! We will send out a registration form for these workshops July 1st. We hope you will take advantage of these events as the Cleveland Chapter wants your stay in Cleveland to be a memorable experience.
